The time to do something and act on the bad things happening to our environment was at least 4 decades ago, but here we are. So let’s start small and do big. Without thinking we do nasty things to our planet, our future and our offspring’s future, so let’s start thinking.

Parties that were organized a few years back and further back were events that would leave so much waste after that it was concerning. By raising the alarm on environment, a lot of us started acting very locally and close to home to do as much as possible to lower our environmental footprint for the greater good. So, let’s talk about options. Everyone wants their wedding day to be the perfect day, all the glitz and glam according to their desires.

But do you really need the balloons that are going to float up, up and away and then land in the sea somewhere just for the picture moment? Do you really need the plastic plates, cutlery and straws for that bachelorette party? Is it really necessary to have peonies as a statement flower of your December wedding? Isn’t the locally grown seasonal flowers something that you can incorporate in your wedding visual?

Support small businesses around you for the organization of your important event. And it is really not necessary to have printed invitations at this digital day and age. There are so many other little things that you can do and trust us, it will be worth. The feeling of doing something good for the environment and the future will be amazing.
