Do you need a wedding planner?

Oh yes, the ultimate question! “Can I plan and organize my own wedding?” The answer is: Yes, yes you can! So why do people spend so much money and hire wedding planners? Well, as wedding and event planners we can with absolute certainty put it all down to one word: Time!

Planning every event is time consuming. Getting the ideas, contacting catering, photographers, hairdresser, make-up artist, band or DJs, looking for venues and contacting venue managers, graphic designers, going online and looking up all the things you need, buying them, waiting for them, returning them because they are not the way you planned, looking for other things, finding people that rent out props, finding and contacting florist, setting it all up together…, and many more things that are so small you wouldn’t be thinking of them but on your wedding day you get frustrated because you did not think of that. That is hours and hours and hours of precious time that you are spending. And if you are organizing your wedding abroad, quadruple that time.

So, the real question is not: “Can I plan and organize my own wedding?”, but “Do I have the time to plan and organize my own wedding?”. Because sure, everyone can plan their wedding, most of the girls and boys start planning from their preteen years, however, when it comes to organizing and putting it all in to reality, most of us need outside help from wedding planners.
